Monmouth Fitness Club now offers Tai Chi on Tuesday evenings @ 7:30pm. Bobby Strutz, a certified Personal  Trainer and Tai Chi instructor, will be leading the class each week. If you are unfamiliar, Tai Chi is an ancient exercise developed over hundreds of years and uses isometric motions to develop strength throughout the lower body and core. People of any age and experience level can find benefits to their strength and balance through the motions of Tai Chi. The level of difficulty is modified by the person who is practicing, which means that people of differing levels of experience can practice together without problem. Tai Chi also provides a level of peace and mental stillness that is similar to seated meditation, and because of this many people choose to practice for that reason alone. In a nutshell, Tai Chi is a blend of exercise, meditation, and artistic movement that has become the exercise of choice for millions, if not billions of people the world wide. Why not try it for yourself?
